Over the past 2 months - last two software updates - I’ve been noticing, when I get in my truck in the morning, my UI seems to have gone through an uninitiated reboot.

Evidence is the driver screen efficiency graph has reset and the gauges view has reset to showing the driving mode picture instead of the gauges view.

I’m a bit concerned this is a precursor to a 12V battery failure.

Anyone else?

Yeah, I don’t really worry about it.

I’ve seen the same…anyone have any idea why? I also noticed the app updated again. Now 2.8.2.

I occasionally notice a different screen appears when I get in than I was looking at when I parked, but I never really thought about it much.

I guess I didn’t assume it was due to a reboot? Do you have any other confirmation that is what is happening?

This has not happened to me. I'm on 2024.11.02 (App 2.8.0).

We have not had this issue, but the last OTA messed up our garage door proximity. It will now randomly pop up on the dash screen while away from home. I've seen other reports of this issue, but not what you've described.

Yeah I don’t actually know if the UI has rebooted, I just have two indicators on two different screens that act like it has been rebooted.

Does the RIDE menu have any diagnostics regarding reboot or not?

It’s a recent development as I’m coming up on two years of ownership in a month. It’s less frequent on 2024.11.02. The build before that it was appearing to have reset itself sometimes 4 times a week!

I've also noticed unexplained resets of displays myself. Not sure if that's due to a reboot, deep sleep cycle, or what.

I may be wrong but would expect the efficiency data for the graph and other display settings to be retained in non-volatile memory thus not subject to loss due to low voltage issues with the 12V system. My guess is this is a software issue resulting in data/state being reset.

Yea, it happens to me, sometimes twice in a week, sometimes a month later, assuming it's nothing too serious.

Sounds like just buggy software rather than an indication something is about to fail.
