Gear Guard Alerts - Off

Does anybody know if there is a way to have the gear guard on, but not give me the yellow dot alert everytime it records? I only need to see it if I see physical damage to my truck....not everytime I walk up to it myself(except at home...i have that off at least).

I don't think so, and that's one reason I have it off. I wish there was a setting to say auto erase anything within X seconds of an unlock.

i dont understand. so you don't like that theres a small yellow dot when something new has recorded? if thats what it is, whats the big deal? its so small and non-intrusive, why does it matter?

Because the same dot it used for all alerts not just gear guard. Meaning everytime I get it truck I like to clear them in case something new pops up that isn't gear guard.

Now that my PAAK works a little better, I have noticed that gear guard doesn't take those "nuisance" videos of me getting up to truck and taking phone out of my pocket, whenever it doesn't react to phone in pocket and the subsequent yellow dot alert on central display.

So maybe if my PAAK has truly gotten better, I won't have the yellow dot alert everytime I get in truck.

Still would love a setting in Gearguard to be able to not have the yellow dot alert for Gearguard triggers. Just keep it to warnings for limited regen, etc... types of alerts.
