Gen 2 Cold Weather Testing anyone?

I'm not in to suffering through another 30+ min Kyle video.. does anyone know the outcome of his "test"?

You can always fast forward to the end and catch the conclusions that way.

Also note in the 2024.47 update includes "enhanced cabin heating for colder climates", so heat pump performance may change.

This is great. I guess this will interact with battery temperature in a somewhat complicated way. The vehicle needs to warm up the battery at the same time. It probably takes a lot longer for the battery to hit its ideal temp. And if you're just taking a short trip, that energy is probably mostly wasted.

Anecdotally, the battery pre-conditioning in the cold seems to be far less than it was with my Gen 1.
