Go chime should go off only at controlled intersections

Look, I'm a Rivian fan, but if "go chime" goes off when I'm moving but the car in front of me is moving faster, that's not really a thing.

The go chime won’t go off while you’re moving.

Had my first random chime today so time to turn this pointless feature off. This is why the car following you has a horn.

Don't worry, in a couple of releases they'll sneak in an update so it resets to on every time you leave the car like half the other settings.

FSD is the only feature that checks up on you to see if attentive, and that is only for those Teslas with in-cabin camera.

On my Model S, it chimes only when it sees traffic light turn green. I'll have to check again later on today.

On my Model S (22 Long Range without FSD) I noticed it would chime only if I wasn't attentive. I guess it used the in cabin camera to spy on me haha. It was very accurate though and only did it at traffic lights, not if the car ahead of my started moving (say in traffic).

Sitting at the dump waiting for my turn on the scale to dump brush (free for homeowners) and my Go Chime dinged. I was daydreaming and it was my turn. Took me a bit to figure out what it was, but it beat a horn from the guy behind me!

My chime went off the day I updated and I had not heard it for days. Yesterday I tried to force it. It seems you need to be close to the vehicle in front of you, and fully stopped for x amount of time. The chime will sound once the vehicle in front of you starts moving and is x amount of feet away, or x amount of stop time elapses. The key seemed to be pulling closer to the vehicle in front of me, a little too close for me but I did get it to chime two times in a row. The selected chime sound is perfect, informative not intrusive or annoying.

I drove my wife’s Model Y this weekend and the go chime when the light turns greens seems to be a more likely daydreaming occurrence. Also, the smart signal works on all roads, not just highways.
