GPS/Map Issue

Has anyone else encountered this? 2 trips so far and the map has me about a half mile west than I actually am. Car is annoyingly locking at home since it thinks Im not home.

I have not seen this in my Rivian, but my Mach E has lost GPS several times. Once it was off by 120 miles.

Ford has a screen where you can check the satellite signals, and they would all be without any signal. Not sure if Rivian has a screen for this, the nav system does not have many settings at all.

What we see in our Nav screen map is likely supported by multi-modal navigation (GPS and cell tower combined). If both are thrown off, I would assume that you HWA is also not working?

Is this consistent or is it come and go?

I know it’s silly, but did you put anything over your shark fin antenna, like a RTT on raised racks or a rooftop luggage rack?

I haven’t seen Nav errors so egregious that they show up on the screen but according to some troubleshooting by service by GPS is actually being scrambled.

Happened to me and a hard reset usually resolved it temporarily. I had a ton of other comms-related issues and they ended up replacing the whole module.

I’d suggest starting with hard reset. If it comes back then file a ticket.
