Up until this point the service experience has been a major disappointment. I've had my R1T for a year now, and I've had a couple issues that have gone unresolved for almost the entire time. Appointments, both service center and mobile were cancelled by Rivian. Finally got in for service, and 2 out of 6 items were fixed. Mobile service came out to resolve, and decided nothing could be fixed in the field, I would have to book another service center appt. Which for me means 7 hours of driving each way. Grrrr.
Then on 6/10, we went to pickup our new R1S, and they were kind enough to coordinate dropoff of the R1T for service at the same time @ the San Jose SC. I got the call Wednesday that everything was ready to go, and we picked it up this past Saturday. Our awesome service advisor took us through the list and showed me what was done to address each issue. And on the drive home I was able to confirm the two big issues that have been annoying me for the last year - a rattle from the rear door and the hood fluttering at highway speed are now fixed! Big thanks to Diego @ Rivian San Jose!
