Great mobile service today

Steering wheel on my Tri R1S had scratches on the copper bezel portion on delivery back in late Nov '24. Was reluctant to open a ticket on it because it was minor and just cosmetic, but opened it anyway. Mobile appointment today to replace the steering wheel. Tech was on time to the minute, nice, professional, got it swapped out pretty quickly.

Another great Rivian experience that basically no other normal car company has ever given me (aside from things 4x the cost of the R1).

Rutiger, I just opened the app to post the exact same sentiment about a mobile service appointment I had today. Then I saw your new post. ? This was for a 7,500 mile service. Brandon, the Rivian tech, was early and kept me updated on his evolving ETA. He was a great guy, very professional, and the appointment occurred a week after I submitted the request.

I have had only really positive experiences with Rivian service. Point of Order - Only one of those appointments was for a repair (Gear Guard cable locking mechanism that didn’t work and was very promptly and efficiently replaced).

We have had a few mobile appointments for real minor things except the 12v battery. Our guy Kevin from the West Sacramento service center is amazing. Has always showed up on time and not only fixed the issue, but conducted a full vehicle inspection, filled fluids and then explained everything he did. Told me our tires have about 10k more tread on it......that means our stock tires will last to at least 40,000 miles.
