Kind of confirms my point that bigger wheels are not the most efficient as the OP states the 22s would be. If the 19s yielded more range on the Mach-e than the 18s....As a reference point, I recently bought a Mach E, and went with the longest range version, California Route 1. It is a RWD with 18 inch wheels and has EPA rating of 305 miles. The Premium RWD with 19 inch wheels has an EPA range of 300 miles. That is pretty insignificant for a 300 mile range vehicle.
I will say this, Ford has over delivered, this morning I charged to 100% for a trip to the Grand Canyon and my guess-o-meter is indicating 369 miles of range.![]()
Rivian is also fitting stickier rubber to the 22s. The Mach-e GT drops from 270 to 260 when fitting the stickier tires on the performance version
