Okay - it is possible to overdo it...After dinner at one of our favorite local Italian restaurants on Columbus Ave the other night, we walked up two blocks to a Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Shoppe (it was almost 60 degrees here in NYC). One of their featured flavors? "Latkes and Apples"!!! The four of us shared one tasting spoon and all agreed that it tasted good but any quantity more than our little schnibble off the tasting spoon would be too much.
On the other hand, the Sufganiyots (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio) from Breads Bakery we had this morning were outstanding!
