Has anyone received R2 OEM crossbars?

Curious if anyone has received the R2 crossbars that were ordered with their R2. They are unavailable on the gear shop and it seems like they might be delayed. Just curious if anyone who has taken delivery has received theirs?

Nope. Not yet. Probably will show unavailable in the Gear Shop long after people start receiving them finally since those with a due bill will get them first.

My delivery date (Sept 1) doesn't mention that the added crossbars won't be included. So we'll see!

There were reports on Twitter that a few people received shipping notices yesterday. So its possible they are going through the backlog of orders and finally shipping them out.

I have yet to receive any notice of shipment for the crossbars or cargo cover.

I took mine off the order when they said they wouldn't come with the R2. Hopefully I can order them soon.

Installed mine. I didn't notice much wind noise with them on...gonna be a different story with the AirCruiser on em, I'm sure.

Nice! You got lucky. It seems like June and early July deliveries possibly are getting their crossbars.

I just reached out to my advisor at the SC and was informed they are out of stock. No ETA yet on when more inventory will be available. I am hoping to get them soon prior to a couple of trips I'm taking.

I guess they didn't anticipate the take rate with these for the early deliveries which is odd considering they market these as adventure vehicles so why wouldn't people want crossbars to help with those adventures.

Actually I just noticed you were an August delivery. That is interesting. I wonder if its based on order date or delivery date. Its my understanding they wait until the order is finalized and a delivery date is set to order the accessories so I'm curious as to how they are deciding who gets them first.

I'm picking my car up on Friday, and I asked the delivery team if it will already have the crossbars, but they said no, and that they'll be shipped to my house. No ETA on that.

Yes, accessories are almost always drop shipped. Always have been.
