Well you can’t have both, so…… The upholstery color of the FG is a bit polarizing. I think it looks better in person than in photos, but others feel the opposite. The truck I did my demo drive in had the FG interior and I thought it was very nice. I would describe the seat color as “pistachio-like”.

That being said I still have Black chosen for my own LOL.

What's your exterior color?

I've only seen BM interior but it's worth noting that people say both interiors are more neutral in person (FG less green more grey, and OC less white more grey).

My exterior is Forest Green. I like the green seats, but worried about green on green.

I love the wood from Forest Edge and love the seats from Ocean Coast.

Don't worry, pretty soon...the only choice will be Black wood with either black or Grey seats

I’ve been with Ocean Coast from day one. You can’t beat a light and bright interior. The interior also stays cooler on sweltering hot summer days.

If you are a pre-March 1 order, Ocean Coast is cheaper. Forest Edge may be easier to keep clean though. I think it depends on what exterior color you want, I think Ocean Coast is better with some exterior colors, and Forest Edge is better with others. Right now I am going for Rivian Blue with Ocean Coast, but sometimes I think I would prefer the Forest Edge interior, but would probably go with LA Silver or Glacier White for that. Part of me wants the Forest Edge because not many manufacturers do a green interior, so it is a bit unusual. I have not seen any of the interiors in person.

I have Launch Green with Forest Edge interior. Everyone gives the combination lots of compliments.

The Forest Edge matches almost perfectly with Launch Green. They both have more of the dull Army green look. I still think Forest Edge would look fantastic with the Forest Green exterior, but so would Ocean coast.

Ocean coast is similar to many other cream/white interiors from other brands. Forest Edge is really unique. Hard to go wrong with either.

So I saw a parked tester R1T (with the camo wrap) in Irvine a few months ago, dont know how many miles it had, but peaked through the window and the FE had not aged well at all.. the seats were glossy and dark on the edges, it looked really worn. The open pore wood on the steering wheel also had gotten darker and glossy (likely from fingers pressing on them over time). I cant compare it to OC as I havent seen that in person.. I havent seen a BM heavily used R1T to compare either, but like any used leather seats as they age they'll get that sheen to them. Black leather and white leather have looked fine historically in other vehicles, I just remember walking away from seeing the FE thinking 'nope' for me.

Interesting.

Does anyone think the white would be difficult to keep clean?

What's your philosophy on headliners? Is light or dark better?

I like the contrast of the white/black in the new OC, but I wonder if I'd like that starkness inside my vehicle. My current seats are beige with wood accents and I really enjoy that warmth. It makes me worry that white/black would feel too cold or Scandinavian lol

My cars have always had light grey headliners and have had no issues keeping them clean. I am not sure how the microfiber will hold up, but I am assuming it will be similar. Personally I have always wanted a car with a dark headliner so big reason for the BM. I actually like the green headliner of the FE, but again what I saw with the worn seats.. glossy green didn't appeal to me.

what do you guys think of Red Canyon with Forest Edge? is the green of FE muted enough that it would be an ok combo? i heard FE is greyish in person more than the green it shows in photos.
