Fair enough, but those are not AT tires. At best they are AS tires.
Gonna double down ehh. .
Well, they are ATs. Specifically Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs. Though it does look like they have a custom sidewall for the CT. They are not aggressive ATs (like the KO2 or AT3W) but they are definitely ATs.

To be fair, the problem there was the tires were not deflated at all. Also, we don’t know what the test driver was intending to do. It’s possible they were checking the systems for off roading feedback. The scenario could have been entirely intentional.

But it still looks like a stainless steel door stop.

EDIT: Just saw the R1T do it. The CT is garbage ?

If they’re rolling out a release candidate doing something like that on actual street tires, knowing that it’s gonna go poorly and people are gonna film it, then the Tesla folks are complete fools.

The more likely scenario is that it’s their AT tires and it’s just not good at obstacles.

Looks like it's not just an AT, it's a RAT (Rugged All-Terrain)

Everyone making excuses. That CT isn't some random person but a Tesla employee trying things out. It didn't work out well for the driver nor the CT but what can you do. The product looks barely baked and probably should have been scrapped for a real truck not the horrific design that it is, but Elon's ego can't allow that to happen.

That's possible, from all of the side shots I have seen of the tires, they don't appear to be AT tires.

The CT probably would have had an easier time if it could air down its tires. CT owners can mount a compressor in the bed along with their spare tire, a cyber quad, and their ability to identify a scam when they see one.

Same obstacle done by @omg_Tesla/Rivian in his R1T.

So after watching the original video my first question was how would other vehicles do on that course because I don’t know everything about every car on every course like 99% of posters apparently.
Then like the sun coming out on a rainy day, your post appeared and wiped away my ignorance. I am now one step closer to being like those 99%. No doubt in my mind, the CT did not look impressive there.
now if someone can explain why I should be rooting against the CT as I have no clue why….
