Yesterday my hood started opening on its own. I’ll close it and then it opens again. Very concerning considering an upcoming road trip and I has this happen about one year ago anytime I put the car into drive. Anyone else having this issue? I’m running software version 2025.18.01 which I believe is the most recent update.

Our R1S was doing this for a bit - mobile service came out and adjusted a sensor which took about 20 mins, not occurred once since then. Like you I had some concerns about it opening, but it never did and I hope that they default to keeping things locked whist in drive/motion - regardless of what other input is being provided. (And yes this means I’d like the ‘escape button’ to only work when the R1 is stopped)

Likely a pinch sensor misaligned along the edges of the frunk hood. Search around and you can find some threads on the subject and possibly fix it yourself quite easily.

Thanks @portdirect, mobile service is always the best option, however it's often a wait where I am in Southwest Florida. And with the road trip coming up middle of next week, I had to expedite, so Rivian is towing my RIS to the Tampa center and I need to be hopeful it'll be resolved by Monday or Tuesday.
