How long should I expect "Delivery scheduling opens soon" to take. Ballpark

Hey all, I am sitting in "Delivery scheduling opens soon". How long should I expect this stage to last? I realize it is likely variable but, ballpark how long have others waited in this stage?

I’m in the same place. Based on what I’ve learned from my guide and local service center, I think the vehicle has to get to the service center and probably through all the local service center prep and QC checks.

Last I checked my service center indicated my vehicle should arrive to them tomorrow.

As they say patience is a virtue. I locked in the vehicle on Tuesday and I just got a message that it's at the service center and ready to be delivered next Wednesday. I cannot complain 8 days from locking into delivery is pretty darn good.

I received a notice on 7/24 my R1T would be ready the week of 7/31. I was beyond excited, to say the least. As of 8/2 I had not heard an update so I contacted my guide (who was apparently out of the office). I found out 8/3 they had made a mistake and the week of 8/21 is now my delivery week. Hopefully you don't have the same experience.

We configured on March 27th....we got this email on April 18th (~2 weeks later) and took delivery on May 3rd. So from Configuration to delivery about 6 weeks. It might be faster or slower for you.

We were told 4 to 8 weeks and it was 6 weeks for us.

Selected shop vehicle on 7/26, still on that status as of today. ETA from guide when I spoke with them last week is looking to be end of August.

07/25 finished purchase, the guide says Mid Aug, but SC says a few weeks. I hope my guide is correct as well.

I guess I am lucky to be in Mpls. <1 week from selection and locking in my purchase to delivery.

Just expect 4-6 weeks. The <10 day stories here are awesome, but delivery won’t open up until your vehicle is at the SC and, really, after they’ve inspected it. So, travel time and quality control are the keys.

I locked in my selection from the R1 store on Monday, this week and my status shows the same as OP. I reached out to my Guide and he said to expect 4-6 weeks, if the vehicle is in Normal and has to be sent to SoCal. In my Purchase Tasks, I'm on the financing part and I selected the bring my own financing option, as I plan to use my existing CU's financing. Do I need to have my financing done this far in advance or can I do it after I get the option to schedule my delivery. Never been in this situation, as I have always bought a car off the lot and financing is done at the time of signing paperwork. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

I have an open Q out to my guide. They want me to use a service called "plaid". I do not want to do that. I just want the number so I can bring a cashier's check. I'll see what the guide says. You do not have to do financing right now as far as I am concerned.

Once again, I feel lucky. Locked in order Tuesday. Thursday, they said it was at my service center. Next Wednesday I pick it up.

FWIW, they low balled me on my trade. I took it to a different dealership and they offered me 4k more. More than off setting the tax savings.

Plaid is actually extremely secure and used by a ton of the largest financial institutions- and you can use it day of. I was told I could use a cashiers check if it was received three days before delivery.
