Only time in 10 months I've had a problem with my Rivian wall charger was shortly after install. Performed initial install only had a 50A breaker available. Set dip switches accordingly. Later swapped out to the correct 60A breaker and set dip switches, but was only able to charge at the previous value. Opened a ticket with Rivian and they had me send them a bunch of photos of the install, and they pushed an OTA change to the unit so that it would operate at the correct 60A (48A charging) setting.
Dumb and annoying, imho. Waste of everyone's time, all because 60A breaker was out of stock that day. I know there was a discussion elsewhere about "strict adherence to some code", but would it kill 'em to make it just obey the dip switch settings?
