So In my Tesla you could just make a profile for someone so they could have their seat position, mirrors, steering wheel settings saved. What am I missing with the Rivian? They want you to invite a driver and give them access to the vehicle with them signed into the app. I just want to let someone drive it with the key fob but be able to save their settings without having them always signed into the app. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

can you have them create a profile, assign the key fob to them, and then just have them use the fob? hassle, but only needs to be done one time and the app could be deleted after.

unfortunately only one driver profile per account. So in order to have another driver profile you need to invite them via the app. If you don't want to invite them to be a driver, you could create a separate email address and invite yourself...then use that profile for them. This way they could still have a profile but would not have access via the app. They would need to have the fob or key card to access the vehicle.

You need to get a blood sample from each driver and add it to the frunk analyzer, which will confirm their identity via the Ancestry.com database.

This was my work-around. I used an alternate email address to invite myself as a new driver named "Guest Driver". Then I adjusted the drivers and keys settings to associate the keyfob with the "Guest Driver" profile.

As an added bonus I now get both versions of Rivian email updates. The version for owners goes to my primary email address. The version for non-owners goes to my alternate email address.
