Okay, I need some help from the forums, have hesitated posting this. LOVE the truck. #1 pet peeve that I absolutely cannot figure out is my HVAC vents seem to be different, or reset, or setup in a different configuration every single time I turn on the truck. They seem to randomly assign - meaning if I'm, for example, driving with just upper vents on, get out of the truck, come back and turn it on the floors and the defrost will randomly be on for no apparent reason. There seems to be no rationale behind the assignment, they are just totally different every time I turn on the truck. I can't be the only one having this issue. Also, profiles doesn't seem to save vent configurations between users so for example, my wife can be driving the truck (which is rare, lets be honest) with her vent settings and then when I get into the vehicle I have to reset them all back on my profile. Am I crazy?

Does anyone else have this issue and if so, there has to be a fix? This is the most frustrating thing and I know the forums can help.

Shocked nobody else is seeing this...seems like it happens more often in Auto where the vehicle will randomly pick the vents it wants to use which seems to be different every time. Maybe this is by design?

I leave my A/C in the Auto mode. Every time I get in the truck and startup, the A/C is still in Auto mode and the vent positions are in the same vertical/horizontal position from previous usage.

I just set it and forget about it... has always worked for me. Not sure this is addressing your situation or not??

Nope... Auto mode seems to direct air where it is needed, floor for heat, dash to cool the cabin, windshield to defrost... all with no intervention from me.
