iKamper Recontuer Rivian interest

I’ve seen this bed rack from @Ikamper called the Raconteur. I’ve reached out to see if this non-drill set up is something that could be made for Rivian. It’s modular which I think is appealing for customizations. I’d like to get a pulse if people would be interested in this.

Currently they are only made for Tacomas and Gladiators but in my opinion this is one of the options I like the most but alas it’s not available for Rivian.

That looks great.

Imagine that would fit right out of the box, assuming that the width is adjustable.

Looks like you would just need to fab some anchors to lock into the R1T tonneau slot.

Is there an advantage with this rack over the Xtrusion Overland R1T rack? How do the prices compare?

I see that iKamper has a Tacoma version, which has mounting challenges similar to the R1T, and is taller in height.

At ~$1500, the iKamper is about $1000 less than the Extrusion Overland R1T. No idea if that is an apples to apples comparison re quality and capability.

Not necessarily any specific advantage, it does run in a little less than the XO one. Loads seem to be similar, honestly I think it comes down to preference. Also, I think it’s important we have options. Right now there only seems to be 2 for the Rivian at the moment, which is why I’d like to get a head count of people who are interested to get back to iKamper so that they can consider making it for the Rivian.

If the top of the support rails could be exactly the same height as the OEM bars (like the Range Ind Mariner) then I would be interested in this design. I'm a bit more concerned about corrosion resistance though.. I see it's powder coated steel, with SS hardware.
