Good morning

Now that I have taken delivery (yesterday) I am starting to have questions on the operation of the vehicle.

1). how fast does the R1T raise heights? I thought during the demonstration at delivery it was relatively fast, but then I started noticing that when increasing the ride height it was so slow as to the point of thinking it was broken. In fact until i was able to watch my headlights climb SLOWLY higher on the stacked stone of my house, I literally. though it was. broken as it took approximately 1 min to get to the "high" setting.

2). what mode allows for "highest"? I had thought it was off road, but I do not see it enabled on any of. the modes right now.

Thanks

Yes I have Vehicles
For me I think it's a nice feature but I don't appreciate the automation. I'd rather set it and forget it vs. getting to a stoplight or my parking spot and having the truck go up or down. Or at least limit it to a single step transition in "All Purpose & Conserve" modes. I hope it's one of those things that with a future update we will be able to program ride height settings to our liking.

As for the time it takes I haven't notice any degradation. But never timed it either.

It depends on where you start from. If you are in standard with a full air tank, it should only take a second or two. If you are in lowest and the tank is half empty, it'll take a while.

Also, make sure you have your foot OFF THE BRAKE when transitioning heights...

Thanks for that... That should help a lot. Hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but is there a "tank" I have to fill, or does it fill itself? And if it does, how long does it take to refill?

Refills itself. Runs for a few minutes.

I agree with being able to set it to our liking. I’m not a fan of the random height change after I have it in “high”
Then when I’m cruising next thing I see I’m at a stoplight lowered again.
To the original post - I’ve not seen degradation either, but when you lower or raise to fast in between it takes some
Time for that air to regenerate in order to adjust height setting - hopefully that’s just the case.

I think it is funny that you can set High in All-Purpose mode, only for it to lower almost immediately when you start driving, and it never goes back to high. Why even allow us to select it?

Feels like they need to change the ride-height selector to have Auto as one of the options, and anything else you select disables automatic right height adjustment until you set it back or change modes.

The smarts are great, but you should always have a manual option instead.

Jeep has had the quad-r-trac around for years and there is no way to disable the vehicle from lowering at speed. If you raise it you need to stay under the speed limit for that height or it lowers.
