Ingress step-in height?

Anyone out there know the step in height with and without the kneeling option?? Expecting a 24 delivery and as wife and i are pretty short. Our current Jeep grand cherokee lowers its air suspension in park and that sure helps getting in or out. Second option is running boards, are they available ?? Thanks

Lowering the air suspension in park is what kneel mode does.

I can measure it later, but if you don’t use kneel it’ll be drive mode dependent so there are multiple answers. My wife is 5’3” and has no complaints. My 4 and 6 year old do have a harder time than getting in our other cars but they love the R1S anyway. Our 4 year old can’t open the door on his own but the 6 year old can.

Running boards are available, there are a few options in various but mostly early development stages. I preordered a set back in November and I might get them in a few days (or weeks?)

edit: I'm getting the running boards from 1EV (RMAXX) but the other companies are first developing sliders (DCE has a set out, for example) I believe.

My immediate reaction is that it’s more of a step up than a step in. The truck can really use running boards.

In kneel mode (Suspension Low) it’s still 10” of ground clearance. It’s another 4-6 inches approximately between the bottom and the interior floor.

I was concerned about my 5'4" wife getting in and out. She has an o.k. time getting in and has to basically slide out on the bolster when getting out. I don't think the seat is going to hold up well without some sort of step.

I'm 6' with long legs but I still want steps to avoid crushing the outside bolster every time I get in and out. I usually use the frame door hoop and left hand to lift myself in to the seat, which isn't ideal.

My RAM had motorized steps that tucked nicely next to the body which seems like the right way to do this for optimum placement of the step and best range.

I also am getting those runningboards. Getting them put on in van nuys tomorrow. So excited!

I drive in Sport/Lowest and it feels like any other car/SUV.

Kneel mode puts it at the equivalent of All Purpose/Low which is my other driving mode. Effectively kneel mode doesn’t affect anything for me, but the vehicle doesn’t feel like it needs to be any lower in these modes.
