Got an email today and call set up for Monday. I've observed that it could mean my R1 is around the corner or still a little ways off. Beyond when, is there much else to be learned from this call? The confirmation said it could be 5 minutes to 45 minutes. Just wondering if it is just an intro or is there some business to conduct. I just bought my ModY in December so I'm familiar with the flurry of activity the week before delivery.

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't remember my date but pretty sure it was end 0f 20 or beginning of 21 (I'm old so I don't even remember what I had for lunch). I started with Blue and Ocean but switched when they disclosed the delays on Ocean. I'm in a Phoenix burb I call East LA.

No business to do. Usually config confirmation. The guide can tell you what’s available and answer any questions. Your config seems to be similar to recent builds produced.

It could be right around the corner, 1-2 weeks, or it could be 2+ months out. Having a common config hasn’t helped my case. If you live in an area with a lot of R1Ts delivered already you’re probably going to get it sooner.

Yesterday I got pinged to start the paperwork so it does feel rather close. I was initially July-Sep. and got switched to Sep-Oct. Hope to know more tomorrow. When I ordered my ModY it was supposed to be March. In early December I got a text that an exact match came in but the buyers had changed their mind. I had added the hitch and I'm certain that was why I got it early. Feeling Lucky!

Just noticed that I have a VIN - ends in 8712.

I've completed steps 1 & 2. Trading in my 22 ModY and they offered a very fair price. Arizona has sales tax on the difference between trade and purchase price so the trade is the way to go in my case. Don't know where in the manufacture process they assign the VIN but it is feeling close.
