Rivian just called me back...someone on the inside sales team... she gave me the off the record..." realistically no one is getting a custom build".. you have to pick one from what we have and they will help you match as close to the options you pick...the more flexible you can be...the easier.. I would call them...ask to be escalated to inside sales and tell them you have an order placed... can you please tell me what vehicles are there which are close to what I ordered/decide what all you can live without (if any) vs how long you want to wait... things like your paint color may be holding up, dynamic roof...did you choose air compressor, etc.Gen2 R1S Red Canyon Adventure Dual Large here. Custom order placed June 18th.
No guide assigned, no human contact. I've been able to email the Experience Center rep who took me on a test drive, but he has no information beyond what I see in the Rivian portal.
And there have been near-nil Red Canyons in the Shop lately. Struggling to be patient.![]()
