You need to talk with @moosetags . Santa Rosa Beach I believe. 30A for the win!
I'm glad to hear Opal (great name) has been flawless and I hope that continues. I looked at the future service center map already and it doesn't look promising. It took Tesla a long time to open the SC in Pensacola and I imagine it will be awhile for Rivian to do the same. Anything from Mobile to Panama City Beach would be fine with me. I agree that if R2's start showing up the way Tesla's are around here than Rivian better be able to service them. I am stubborn so I doubt the lack of a local SC option dissudes me from getting an R1T though. Thanks for the response! We are along the west end of 30A. We have had Opal (our R1T) for fourteen months. She now has 7,000 miles on her. We took Factory Delivery in Normal and drove her home.
Thus far, Opal has performed flawlessly (knock on wood). We would have thought that by now there would be closer Rivian service. They are opening a service center in Jacksonville, but it is the same distance from here as Atlanta. Rivian needs to get on the stick with service availability before they put hundreds of thousands of R2's out on the street.

I drive down 98 to work every day and have noticed an increase in R1S's for sure. Good to hear you've only had to make 1 SC trip so far. I'd be interested to hear about the availability of mobile service in our area. Gulf Breeze is just down the road from me. If mobile service does exist that certainly helps alleviate some of the concern. Thanks for the info!We live in Pensacola and see plenty of rivians these days. I've only had to drive to service once for a quick recall last summer on r1t. Was on the way back from TN so worked out well. I've never used mobile service but someone I work with who lives in Gulf breeze has used mobile once or twice I think.
Agree with everyone on hopefully service eventually being somewhere on the Gulf Coast. Perhaps Pensacola, mobile, or Gulfport would cover everyone. Better than 5 hours to Atlanta.
Here’s the link to the Rivian site. Looks like a beautiful facility (though not technically in Groveland).Hello! Groveland opening next week? Nice
