Hey all! Thanks for all the information and advice already, my first post but I found and read everything I needed to know so far from existing posts. I'm excited, pickup is today:

R1S Tri, Storm blue, 22" brights, Slate Sky + Walnut Wood interior. I'm trading my Audi RSQ8, I'm going to miss massage seats!

Hi. Picking up my R1S tomorrow. I have been a long term ev fan. Cars I’ve owned included a Nissan leaf, and 14 teslas. I’ve had a roadster, model s, model x, model 3 and model Ys. Have had tesla solar panels and power walls. fatigued with musk out right lies and political bent and hipocracy. I was very impressed with the R1S and if it’s as good as it seems will replace our family cars. The timing would be right with the R2 coming out in a year. Will be mostly reading rather than posting until vell versed in Rivian

You should post with your questions and concerns. It is this type of interaction that makes this Forum viable.

Hello everyone! I got my 2023 R1T with 276mi in July of 24. It's now Dec now and passing 10k, it is with out a doubt the best truck I have ever owned. In the first week I drove from Detroit to Oshkosh for EAA. It was one of the best and easiest road trips I have ever done. I do some work(home repair) and towing(small pop-up) camper with it; As well as the usual work commute type stuff.

Hi All!

I've been driving my Tesla Model 3 since new in 2017 (super early delivery). Bought that when I lived in a warmer climate and rented a room in a shared house. Now I live in the PNW and have some land so I decided to get something that will let me replace both the Tesla and my trusty old Mountaineer for towing my utility trailer for dump runs, loads of gravel, and home improvement supplies. The R1S fit the bill and I picked it up today! 2023 Quad Large with off-road options. I didn't appreciate how much of a beast this thing is during the test drive. Put it in sport mode on the way home and... wow.

Looking forward to some roof racks for my kayak and building a mattress platform for the back to do some tentless camping. I've also never owned a vehicle with so much off-road capability before so I'm excited to start playing in the dirt.

Welcome to the Rivian family! We have kitchen and bed platform solution you might find cool. Check it out and let us know if you have questions!

Hi,

I just traded on my '23 Quadmotor Adventure Series R1S for a '25 Tri-motor R1S. With the new car, I really want to explore car camping. I'm a seasoned backpacker but would like my wife (who is not a backpacker!) to be able to join me for 24 hours of hiking and then cooking and sleeping using the R1S to the fullest extent possible. That means an air foam car mattress, fitted sheets, her own pillow, really good cooking ingredients, an induction stove, etc.

Here's my first question for the group. How do women pee in the middle of the night without leaving the vehicle? Thanks.

Hello, everyone! I just signed up! I'm pondering an R1S purchase (new or used...maybe from right here in this forum)!

I'm going to test drive one this week at the Franklin, TN service center to see what I think of it!

I have an R2 reserved though...the R1S might be a little too large of a vehicle for my needs.

Don't forget to use a referral code (such as mine) if you decide to order one through the shop. Enjoy the test drive. Loving my R1T and also have one (or maybe 2 :) ) R2's on reserve.

I'm not sure if I've ever run across anyone who doesn't like the Rivian adventure life after a test drive....maybe a couple...The R1S doesn't seem big to us. It feels larger, but drives like it has a smaller footprint.
