I drove through to grab a bite, was going to stop and say hello but it was chaos in the parking lot and a truck unloading. Next time, seems to be quite the hub.

@LeDiable I’m on the south side of Ankeny by tractor supply. White w/22’s, broken tonneau cover . Also in the same boat with reg, mine expire Thursday and I’ve been on my guides ass for two months now. They keep blaming the dmv for being slow and the dmv says they don’t have any reg request….unreal.

Did you get anywhere with your registration stuff? I just posted an update to my situation in another forum thread over here: No plates, Day 12 using rental car.

I had my first Riv Mobile Service onsite today (they said they seen Justin's truck leaving KC this morning, too). Matt from the KC center showed up about noon and was all done with my list of stuff (other than the tonneau cover which is a no go yet) by about 2:30. Fixed the rear seat display, the air compressor lid in the bed, the air compressor tools door/cover on the driver side gear tunnel door, bubbling PPF on gear tunnel and best of all he fixed the creaking/squeaking from the front end axels! Damn that sounds was annoying. All said and done, very professional and efficient visit.

Update on my registration debacle. Riv is now sending me all the reg documentation so I can do it all myself. Says they’ll reimburse me all the taxes/fee’s. Wish they would have done this months ago. This is a mess of a process, if anyone else wants to avoid this situation I recommend ya jump on things long before your tags expire. I dread going to the dmv but at least I can have control and move things along.

My delivery person had the Iowa DOT form with them that I signed in person. My guide said they have been trying to improve the process for newer deliveries.

Yesterday I got my documents, today I got the refund check. Yesterday afternoon I scheduled a "Title Services" appointment at the Polk County Treasurer. First available date was Oct 13, so that's not ideal. The walk-in wait times can be over 2hrs so that's not great either. I might try to get in there as soon as they open some day next week, we'll see.
