Its the haloween update. That feature is called haunted screen ?
On a serious note, it can happen with any system. My Tesla screen locked up on me a handful of times in two years....scroll wheel reboot. I haven't had either of the Rivians do this..though I have had some glitches with maps being offline and Tidal not playing music which required reboots to fix. These things are rolling computers...there will be some glitches from time to time.
