Had our R1S for a couple months now and generally are impressed and loving it.
We are about to have our first service though and there's a couple things that we don't know if they are normal or a defect to be fixed:
1) when the R1S has been out in the sun on a warm day, the doors miss their latches a bit so are stiff to close and open and make a screech sound
2) pretty bad wind noise from upper front corners of both front doors at highway speeds.
Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Not normal. Put in a service ticket and they will get it fixed. Sounds like a simple door adjustment.

As a side note I wish all posts about possible defects were handled the way you did. No "Rivian is the worstest ever" or "Lying Rivian and their deadly dangerous doors" Just "hey is this normal, what should I do about it. That's the perspective to have, and it shows a healthy mindset. Good for you.

Never had the issue, then I went to Las Vegas in the summer and the door started doing what you mentioned. Put a service request they will fix it. It has not happened again.

When I picked up my R1S, the front drivers side door was misaligned. This was fixed by Rivian. You might measure the fit around the door panels, gaps should be uniform. Good luck.
