When I was deciding to get a Rivian, the biggest question mark wasn't whether I could afford to acquire the vehicle, it was whether I could afford to repair the vehicle.
If there was a force field option I'd go for it.

Was just informed that I had similar damage to my front light bar. I’m guessing a rock hit it since this is too high for a parking accident and no surrounding damage. My estimate was just a few dollars less - likely taxes. There is moisture in the light bar so replacing before this causes more problems. Was told mobile service can do it.

The big learning here is that the road noise on the all-terrain pirellis of the loaner R1T was so loud that it certainly removed the AT package from any future consideration.
I had a loaner with 24k miles that was so obnoxiously loud and of course every tire had a different PSI level. It was also filthy but I blame the loaners and not Rivian who should clean up after themselves instead of being slobs.
