Is this damage a PDR candidate?

Came back from a trip to the NY Botanic garden and after getting home found this beauty…. Think this is a good candidate for PDR. Anyone have recommendations for the NYC area? We also are a one car household in Westchester. I don’t want to have to leave this for a long time anywhere. Going to contact the garden in the AM tomorrow and see if they have footage for a license plate. Of course Gear Guard has 1:11pm and 1:12pm events. Both are people and the second seems to be the car already in the space after hitting me. Very frustrated at the moment.

It's a special kind of asshole who hits someone's car and doesn't say anything. Not sure if PDR can help as it's on a body line, but it doesn't look too bad compared to some of the other dents I've seen fixed by PDR

I'm sure a "good" pdr guy can probably fix it, but finding the right guy will be hard. Definitely not some guy that advertises on FB marketplace. The good ones don't need to hussle for work. If you end up taking it to a certified Rivian shop, count on being without your car for a month.... That fix requires removing so many parts, including the rear quarter glass.

I was afraid of not having the car for an extended period of time. I hate rentals and I’ll be damned to have to go to a gas station again

I had similar in same area, but not as deep. PDR did a terrific job. I suspect you might see a hint of the damage in the right light/angle afterwards, on that one, but I bet they can get real close. Worth a shot.

I used Mike from Tri State Dent Removal https://tristatedentremoval.com/ a few years ago for a tough dent on a body line. Did a fantastic job, frankly forgot about it completely until this thread surfaced.

Found before and after pics.

He did it in my driveway in about an hour. I'm in NJ but they say they service the tri-state area. Shopped around at a few, a couple didn't want to try due to the multiple contours. He said it would be 90% but turned out better than that. Was very reasonably priced as well. No affiliation. Might want to give them a shout.

When the service center inadvertently dented our side doors during a service visit, they sent Leroy to this body shop in New Rochelle:

Apparently that's the body shop the SC prefers to work with and they did a pretty job on ours.

Go to yelp and look up local PDR specialists. Vet by reviews and photos of work samples. Go from there and get quotes.

I didn't have one large dent, but more like 4 dents on each side of the driver/passenger doors, no larger than two knuckles. It was hard for the pictures to show the dents unfortunately. We liked the work though. The SC manager over at Shelton told us that is where they send all of the body work to.
