Just took delivery of my R1T and have some pics.... Now starts the after delivery questions... thanks to this community for being so awesome.

1). With the key fob, do the doors auto unlock on approach like my tesla or do you need to physically press the button?

You have to press the button. Your phone can work as a key and as a proximity lock/unlock but mine is spotty at best

Yes. i thought of that but decided against for right now because too many people said their phones kept unlocking the rivian from their rooms. May try it later.

Adventure trim yes. LE no. Even though I had been following Rivian for a while and the 1k was not a big deposit, my wife refused to put a deposit down till we saw one in person. There was a first mile event in Santa Clarita in December '21 so we put down the deposit just after and of course LE were long gone by then. ;-)

People said I hit the "Rivian Lottery" by getting mine so soon. My delivery window was not even supposed to be till oct-dec of this year.

Congrats - I know we said you hit the lottery but it's nice to see delivery went smoothly and you have your truck! You are definitely the luckiest preorder in Southern California - I hope your luck continues and you enjoy the truck!

In your first picture you have no aero covers but your center cap is there. Last picture no aero caps but no center cap.

I was under the impression the center caps didn’t fit from the aero covers, did you source them Elsewhere?

Location/proximity to a service center is my guess. Doubly so if that build was already sent there for some reason (cancellation, last minute config change).

Not sure there is any Logic to Rivian. I live within a few miles of @abirozy and I have 2 preorders and just now have been assigned a guide for one.
