Hopefully it is an AC charging issue coupled with 12V. Just find out what it is so you can be relieved.

So many of these first-time posters lately with horrible stories about their vehicles dying. I really want to believe the OP, but the more of these I see, the more I feel something nefarious is going on.

OP, assuming you're legit, I hope they get it resolved quickly. Please keep us posted.

I think they mention the "may not be covered under warranty" just to cover themselves. I'm sure some people have abused their vehicles (all manufacturers) and try saying "But I have a warranty". But, also, for example, if someone ran over car parts on the freeway and that tore up the underside or potentially battery, that isn't Rivians fault either.

Glad to hear they are at least getting it into their facility right away.

A tech called me from Brooklyn to say they received the truck and were ready to run diags on it - and he wanted to hear from me what happened. Nice guy, former tesla employee who loves Rivian so I’m hoping for a good outcome. Good news is he said they’ll flatbed it back when done, so we’ll see how long it takes and will certainly update as I get more info.

Maybe the car didn't charge the 12V while charging the HV or something and finally went dead. Hope you get it back soon.

Got it back last night. Roughly 2 weeks - exacerbated by body damaged at the SC that needed repair. I don’t know the cause but it was the hv battery that was replaced. While at the SC a tow truck did some quarter panel damage that delayed its return - they gave me a full size spare to make up for the inconvenience so all in all, while not something you want to have happen to you - I’m satisfied with the outcome.
