Key Fob lock button double press

I have a question about the key fob that I own for my Gen 2 R1S. Sometimes a single press will lock my vehicle and sometimes I have to double press for it to lock. Is there a setting so that a single press will lock it? In the manual it seems to show that either a single or a double will lock. But as I've stated, sometimes the single press does not lock it.

I think it should always be a single click on the fob. Double-click to open the frunk or tailgate. I was trying to double-click to unlock for a while before I was set straight. If you sometimes have to double-click to unlock, maybe it didn't catch the first click?

It's the "Locking" that I have a question about. If you get a chance to look at page 33 of the current Owner's Manual you will see that both Single Click and Double Click is supposed to lock the vehicle.

In my case, sometimes the Single Click doesn't work, and then I have to double click to Lock.

Ah.. hmm. I guess I need to RTFM…. But, actually the auto locking and unlocking is working, so I rarely use the fob except to open the frunk. Good luck
