I've seen spirited driving in the parking lot at Normal, assume they drive pretty aggressively to shake things out?

Picked mine up this past Wednesday (Aug 2). Nabbed it from the shop on 7/6, door jamb shows a build date of 06/23 for VIN 149##. Haven't noticed any interior or drivability issues. Just some panel alignment issues but most frustrating is a small paint chip on the front fascia panel which is holding up my PPF plans.

For anyone picking up their R1S soon, these were the problems I saw on mine if you want to get a sense of what to look out for on a recent build. No big deal breaker issues, more like very minor annoyances. Filed a service ticket the evening I picked it up and got a 10/6 appointment date, expected given that the issues are cosmetic. Might work it out with my PPF guy to still cover up the bad panel and remove it right before the appointment date.

Hey everyone, new member here. I placed my R1S deposit exactly 1 year ago today, but I still don't have an estimated build date or anything really. Is that normal for 1 year later? What kind of delivery should I be guestimating?
I placed my order in Jan 2020. I had an estimate of June-July of 2023. Still no word. I’ve not been contacted by anyone for anything. I called customer service and was only told to watch for updates in my profile. I asked for access to the R1S shop and was told they will evaluate my request. 3 weeks have passed and I’ve not heard back on that request. I’m in Arkansas so they may be avoiding me due to lack of SC or resources in my area. It would be helpful if they would just come out and say that.

Just the serial number at the back of the VIN, this would be a vehicle above the 16,100 R1S built.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone received a vehicle without ever hearing from a Guide?

I picked an R1S from the shop a couple of weeks ago and have been working through the 8 steps. I have the VIN and just need a delivery date to finish everything up. No Guide contact so far though. I don't think I NEED a Guide, but thought I would hear from someone after all the hype.

I did get a text from my service center letting me know that they would touch base after my truck arrives to schedule the pickup.

I have talked to a guide a couple time since I selected a R1S from the store, but have yet to hear from the service center. Every text and email I am hoping it’s them. I get the impression the guides are slammed.

I proactively reached out just to make sure nothing was holding it up after I completed all my steps. I got the feeling I wouldn't have received any comms otherwise. Some guides seem to be more overwhelmed by others. I think their move to guide teams makes sense to spread problematic deliveries.

I had one question I asked my guide a while back and got a response within 24 hours. But all proactive comms have come from someone at the SC.

156xx taking delivery this week.

I just jumped on 153XX in the Shop this morning. It’s supposedly in Normal. I’m taking delivery at the Denver SC. My guide told me it should be about 4 weeks.
