Liftgate "rubbing" sound

Is there a DIY solution for this issue? Seems like when my lift gate opens, it rubs against my roof trim.

Mine does the exact same thing. Took delivery 2 days ago. I created a service request and it was added to an appointment I already have for early October. It's disconcerting, feels like a piece might crack at some point.
