Exactly one of the trips I have planned once I receive my R1T.

How long did it take to drive to the top? Any tips?

We took Maple Springs road near the 241. From the trailhead to the top is probably about 90 minutes or so. Nothing really technical or challenging, just some narrow spots which can be a little hairy when you encounter people coming the other way. Try and go on a clear day, view would have been even better if it wasn’t so hazy.

Just for people to see the Limestone in different lighting situations. Same phone Iphone 13 Pro Max with different lighting and angles. My R1T is the first Rivian I have seen in real life. My original configuration reservation was for Limestone, but I have changed a couple times. I am so glad I decided to go back thanks to some pictures and descriptions in this very thread.

i will bet even money that lower photo was taken with an iPhone. they always add some blue to the Limestone. I imagine that lower R1S would look more flat gray in person.

On a related note, a few R1T owners are meeting up in Albuquerque Thursday night. One or two might be Limestone. I will try and get some nice photos. (but have an iPhone so....)

I am not yet an owner, but I appreciate people who are that are willing to let us gawk a bit at their trucks.

How is that the same color?! I want to like Lyingstone™ but I just can't trust it until I see it in person with a flashlight....

I found limestone to be in between these two colors: lighter than the top pic and not nearly as blue as the bottom pic. The pic that that @R1TFTW posted seems about right….

I also agree that this picture is closest to what I actually believe limestone to be... With more metallic look.
