Yes... LAPFCU... only good for city employees or referred family members. So google killer95stangFCU?
What was your apr with dcu?I've got an approved loan with DCU but am intrigued by USSFCU. Anyone actually have an experience with them? Don't want to have to jump through hoops just to find out their discount qualifiers are unattainable (ie. minimum deposits, attend Senate hearings, etc).
DCU's rates are better than most (https://www.dcu.org/borrow/vehicle-loans/auto-loans.html) but if USSFCU won't require hoops to jump through I'll have to really consider going with them. Membership terms with them are very attainable (ie. join a consumer group for free)What was your apr with dcu?
I just looked it up. If you work for a “Select Employee Group” you are able to join. If you don’t work for one you can donate $65 to the US Capitol Historical Society and you’re in.DCU's rates are better than most (https://www.dcu.org/borrow/vehicle-loans/auto-loans.html) but if USSFCU won't require hoops to jump through I'll have to really consider going with them. I submitted my membership application today. Someone on r/Rivian said it took about a week to do membership and another week for the loan. You have to have membership approved before you can apply for loan. Hoping the rates won’t move, but it seems like they only update on the 1st of the month.I just looked it up. I laughed at your message thinking the “attend senate meetings” was you being facetious, then googled USSFCU and… makes sense now lol.I've got an approved loan with DCU but am intrigued by USSFCU. So awesome to hear 60 day lock, I asked them this and the rep wasn’t sure. Currently waiting for membership approval- hopefully tomorrow.I have used USSFCU and they are great to work with once you get your membership setup. Loans are approved in a couple of days with 60 day lock.
My USSFCU membership was approved and just submitted loan app. Hoping for 3.74% for 60 months. If anyone makes it all the way through for USSFCU, I would love to hear what rate you guys got.
I just got a pre-approval from Navy Federal at 4.74% for 60 months with >800 score.
