Hmm. Strange. It was definitely not hot when this happened to mine - 6pm in the evening, no direct sun. Still waiting for Rivian to get back to me with any info. (not holding my breath)

OK, few hours later and the sun has set, cabin temperature is down 45 degrees to 80 and it's responding again. Coincidence perhaps, but the temperature situation was similar the last time this happened to me.

I would think it would be critical to get into your car and run AC on hot days.

I would think it would be critical to get into your car and run AC on hot days.
Perhaps a software update that provides cabin overheat protection would prevent these types of situations (if, indeed, this is a situation).
