Locking issue after 2024.31.1 update

Figured I would post this in case anybody else was affected. 2023 R1T.
After update, accidentally noticed that even when the truck was locked, the gear tunnel could still be opened from the outside. Also noticed some glitchy proximity locking behavior. Didn’t resolve with infotainment reset but did seem to (so far) after full reset. Not sure if it was just me or if this is a more widespread bug, but might want to check that everything is locking appropriately when you walk away from the truck.

I think the gear tunnel access bug/feature has been around for a few updates now. I noticed it earlier this year but it only lets me unlock if the phone is in proximity.

I've always been able to tap the gear tunnel button once to wake the truck, then a second time to open it while the rest of the truck is locked. (Having my phone or key on me)

I was assuming this was a feature. Same for the tailgate and frunk.

That makes sense. My issue was that the gear tunnel door was not locked even without the phone/key nearby and the regular doors locked.

My truck setting is proximity lock only at home— it currently sporadically unlocks as well lol.
