Looking for 2022 tax return amendment instructions (TurboTax)

Has anyone who took delivery of a 2024/2025 model year vehicle been able to file the amendment via TurboTax online?

I understand the "Date acquired" & "date placed in service" should both say 08/15/2022 in Form 8936.

But what about the model year? The model year list only has till 2023. Is it ok to pick 2023? I've seen conflicting info in the forums. Those who got their amendment accepted/rejected, can you please advice?

Yes, 2023 is fine. That’s what I selected. Filed by paper. Refund received after 4 months.

I filed my amended return electronically in June 2023, and got my refund at the end of April, 2024.

Yes! I clicked 2023 though I purchase a 2024. Received refund in about two months.

I just filed using TurboTax a few days ago and selected 2023. I'm hopeful I will see my return in the near future.

Great! Thanks for all the responses. I'll also pick 2023 as the model year in Form 8936. Hopefully there is no issue due to the mismatch with the VIN model year.

I filed my amended return electronically in June 2023, and got my refund at the end of April, 2024.

I filed electronically in August 2023 and got letter notifying me that I would receive the refund with interest in October 2024.
