Big question: Do you want need snow cert 3PMSF? If so then Goodyear…

Subjective scores

priorities would be in order:

1. Noise/Comfort - Defender by a point or two

2. Efficiency - Defender by a hair (tbd)

3. Off road ability (gravel/dirt, fire roads, light
North Georgia trails) - Goodyear, by a point

4. Longevity/cost - Defender by several points

5. Looks - Goodyear by 5 points

Unless #5 is enough to sway you, then it seems like defender long life (low cost) and noise is the tire you want…
1. I can't tell much diff at all with my grabber and the GY. Grabber is very damn quite and comfortable compared to the OEM 21"

2 and 3 are spot on.

4. I'm sure there are many gen 2 LFP standard battery owners out there with this tires that has 10K plus miles on it can chime in about their current thread life

5. Definitely 5 points or higher

My (lone) vote is for the Michelin. I have always had really good luck with them. Been running them for nearly 25 years on all my cars/trucks. I had run GoodYear a few times, and will never go down that road again. Only ever had 1 good set of GoodYears, and that was on my Subaru B9 Tribeca that came from the factory with them. The rest always had blow outs, weird wear, unable to balance correctly, etc.
I agree 100%. I have had three bad experiences with Goodyear (good for a year) tires. Zero bad experiences with Michelin tires. The good-for-a-year tires always had balance problems and poor tire wear.

I just put the Goodyear tires on my quad motor and they are super smooth and quiet. I considered the Michelin Defender platinums because I like the off-road look but they were heavy. You do feel the bumps a bit more because the Goodyear has a slightly smaller sidewall. Evidently, there’s also a 5% efficiency boost over the Pirellis but no tread warranty.
