Anyone putting down a reservation today?
I did. A few key features for me were a Heads Up Display with AR overlay, Rear wheel steering, potential efficiency of 4.6 miles/KwH, and other smaller features like true leather interior and Apple Car Play to name a few.

I did cancel my Gen 2 Quad motor reservation at the same time which I anticipated would have a similar price point all be it with more horse power. The show stopper for me was the fact that my 84 year old mother in law who lives with us couldn't comfortably climb into the R1S. Nothing against the product, I'm still a Rivian shareholder, but at this point I can't get a vehicle that one third of the household can't get into.

Most people are trying to keep their mother in laws OUT of their vehicle. Interesting take. :CWL:

Get running boards and they all can get in. It’s what I did and my 83 year old mother has zero issues now.
