Making changes to the wheel selections in the configurator...

Sorry, as this has probably been asked already(?) but I wasn't finding it in any of the threads when I searched...

So... I have a pre-Mar 2022 order for a R1S, so I'm locked into the old pricing. Currently I have the 22" wheels selected in my configurator, but now I've seen a handful of Rivians around town in person, I think I've grown to like the 20" wheels better...

My question is: can anyone confirm/have insight into if making that wheel change in the configurator will 1) impact delivery time at all 2) trigger my pricing to change to the current pricing, simply by changing the wheels?

I'm afraid to touch it since Rivian support hasn't answered me previously with a couple of questions I've had, so hoping someone on here can confirm. Thanks in advance!

Don't bother changing it. It's likely that you'll get shop access soon where you'll be able to choose your ideal configuration. Even if your number gets called before shop access, you can update then.

When I changed my 22 darks to 22 brights and went into estimate processing, during the next update, I got pushed back a quarter. Could have been a number of reasons, could have been pushed back even without changing the wheels, but just the only data point I have.

Your pricing will not change.

Pricing should remain other than cost of wheels. As for delivery time, I have changed color and wheels and delivery remains the same.

changed white to limestone and 21s to 22s back to 21s still q4 delivery.
