June '19 max pack since Day 1 and didn't even get a delivery window. Was told that I would have to wait until the delivery window feature was added on the configurator to find out. I'm assuming first half '23? but who knows.

Of note, I did consider switching to a large pack to get it sooner, but decided 300 miles (460km) wasn't going to be enough for me, so decided to stick with my initial order of 400.
FWIW my estimate is currently 2nd half of 2023.

sticking with max pack because I need it. Charging thins out in a hurry once you get off the trans canada, and winter is a huge huge factor.

Agreed.

For me it isn't so much the cold, its the elevation increase for anywhere I go. Vancouver is what, +20' above sea level.... Mountain passes aren't kind to batteries unless you're on your way home.

Mine is second half 2023. I could see that pushing to early 2024 and I would be ok with that, but that might be about my limit. If more detail on the RAN was published I may be able to easily get away with the large pack for my normal trips. I think I could now based on EA and EVgo, etc, but it wouldn't be easy. Towing is the major sticking point for me, but most of my planned towing would be less than 50% large pack anyway.

Wind also a factor if it isn’t deathly cold. If I’m driving west to the mountains there is always a headwind, and if I can get away without having to stop more than once in sask, great!

Mans I hope it doesn’t push out further.

R1T,
I know that nobody here has the exact answer, but has anyone received any delivery dates on Max Pack vehicles other than 1H23? I am a pre-order holder since 1/4/20. I know that 2018/2019 preorder holders can switch to the Large Pack for a 2022 delivery. I missed it by 4 days. My bad...........2 years of watching this company and product and just didn't pull the trigger on the deposit soon enough. They brought an R1T to my house in San Diego last month for a 45 minute drive and it was awesome. More excited than ever. But CS said if I switch to the Large Pack I lose my place in line. Just don't know where the line is for the Max Pack. Thoughts other than 2024 is more likely?? This is a great forum. Thank you to all the current owners who are sharing their amazing experiences!!!! I am fully invested in this company and this product.
Looks like we reserved within days of each other. I am holding out for the Max Pack for "First Half 2023" (June 30th is first half...). I'm in Central Oregon and every trip involves winding mountain passes so I am hoping to get around 300-320 miles without having to recharge. Besides, another year and maybe they can work any kinks out, and have less need for OTA updates. I'm still disappointed about the lack of integrated satellite radio.

I'm holding out for the Max Pack as well (6/19 order, first half of 2023 email). It's a math issue - 20% reduction for cold, 10% reduction for Off Road capable tires, want to have at least 10% in the battery at recharge - 240 miles of range. With 300, you only have 180. And that's assuming a charge to 100%. These are ballpark numbers, YRMV.

I’m anticipating a minimum 30% hit in winter, but for me winter is -35c
