Miles on odometer at delivery / pickup? Mileage thread

I’m about to take delivery of an R1T from my local SC and the tech there said my VIN already has over 30 miles. While not a lot, it still seems like more than I would expect for a brand new vehicle as I’ve previously seen 5 to 10 miles on brand new cars I’ve bought. Maybe they’re doing more testing which could be a good thing. What have folks experienced with the odometers on their new Rivians?

Mine was only a few miles. I forget the exact number but it was single digits.

Honestly, 30 is "nothing" and if it means you get a vehicle that is actually sorted out then I would GLADLY take it over one that has issues.

My recollection is mid-30's

The only thing one should expect is that their Rivian will be delivered with less than 100 miles.

That would make sense. hopefully that means they’ve worked out the kinks rather than an indication that I should expect problems! Though as an early adopter I should just expect there to be issues ?

I wish mine had more miles so I didn't have to go to the SC twice to fix the obvious misalignment.
