How many options of options do we need? I’m willing to bet the majority of folks never even look at their mirrors when just backing in.

I use the tilting mirrors them basically every time I park since I back in almost everywhere. I find tilting mirrors one of the key ways to center the truck between the lines. It is way easier to park the truck now that they've added this feature. It's more challenging to park my Miata whose mirrors don't tilt, so I end up stretching and craning my neck to see the lines as I back up.

Backing in is where I find the cameras to be indispensable. The top-down view allows perfect centering, and the backup camera lets me know exactly how far I am from what's behind me. The only use for the tilting mirrors I have is to see how close my wheel is to the curb when parallel parking, and for that they are great. But, I parallel park rarely, so defaulting to no mirror tilt when backing up and having the button make them tilt makes way more sense for, i suspect, 95% of drivers.

I have to pile on with the camera users. Seeing the overhead view makes backing in somewhere a lot easier than with mirrors. I still use mirrors for reference as I’ve spent a lot of time driving big vehicles with no rear window so mirrors were a must.

Even with that the cameras are superior. Same with the camera that comes up to change a lane. Being able to see across multiple lanes without moving your head and getting a better view than you would looking over your shoulder is nice.
