Missing R2 Test Drives

I just tried to check on availability of test times for the R2 and the screen no longer allows you to to click on the R2. You can select either R1 but not the R2. Furthermore the button text now says

“R2
Available at select locations in 2027”

Any idea what is going on?

Have tried it logged in and not. I do have a reservation and have taken a test drive a couple of weeks ago. This has changed in the last week or so.

Works for me as well. Logged in and had a test drive about a week and a half ago.

Maybe you are not near a service center or the one that is near no longer has an allocation of demo vehicles? Since they’ve begun doing pop-up demos, it’s also possible the cars have been repurposed and redirected elsewhere.

I've had that happen a number of times on my desktop computer. I initially thought it might be because I've already done a R2 test drive, but that's not the case.

I just go to a different device then it works. For example, it always works from the Rivian app on my phone, or in the browser on my phone.

Based on your profile, you're in Raleigh? Knightdale Service Center? I tried that location online via web browser just now and found one R2 time for7/23 and a few more for 7/24.

I just tried again and it now works. That is interesting because I tried multiple times before and it did not work.

I had not tried that but it makes sense. My theory is that a cookie had been set and I was about to delete Rivian cookies when I saw your reply. I had been using my phone and switched to my computer and it works. I have also tried the phone again and that works. It seems to be inconclusive what is going on but glad to see I am not the only one and that it did not permanently lock me out.

Good detective work. I have since tried on different devices and it is now working. I also tried the phone again and that is working. Not sure what the problem was but another responder mentioned they had seen a similar problem.

you shouldn't need to be logged in; I was able to see available slots before I had an account.

What if OP tries a more distant location?

No issues here. I drove it last week here in Tampa.

When I did a demo drive a few weeks ago he told me the software for booking was not working well at all. When I made my appointment I went into the store and they had an entire day open but it was not showing any times available on the website.

If you're close to a center your best bet is to go in and talk to them in person. They are also much better to talk to than any regular dealer salesman since they are not trying to sell you.
