There are a number of Rivians in NM, although they are not delivering here anymore due to lack of a service center. No word from Rivian on when or if that might change - my guess is it will be a year or two at least. There is a NM Rivian discord group and an occasional meetup in ABQ.

There is apparently a mobile service guy that operates out of ABQ to service what is already here, but if there is something you need that he can't do, I guess you've got to get it to Denver or Phoenix. I don't have a Rivian yet, but there are others here that do, maybe they'll chime in.

I would encourage you to write to Rivian to encourage them to put a service center on Pueblo land in NM, as they could do that now with no change in the laws.

I am in the same "Processing Estimate" boat.
I spoke with Rivian customer service and told them about setting up on a Reservation, I doubt the comment I made will do anything.
I spoke with a local, ABQ, owner and she said they do have a local service tech, they have had their truck serviced a few times already (recal service, tire rotation,, nothing serious).
This could go on for years, trying to get the government to change the rules. Seems like Rivian could put a service center closer to one of our borders. I do see where they are putting one in Colorado Springs, so a little closer than Denver.

I'm moving my R1T to our place in Santa Fe next month-- looking forward to having it in the mountains! Not so much looking forward to taking it to Colorado for service appointments.
