We’re moving from my LE Quad motor to a Gen 2 here soon. I paid via the store for a compact spare tire kit with the quad. I want to keep it and move it to the Gen2. Has anyone looked inside the gen2 rear compartment to see if the correct mounting holes exist under the liner?

I’m thinking I take the plate and parts with me (pictured) and fab it into the gen2 if possible versus sinking that substantial cost for the spare again. I know I won’t have the clean cut liners but if the bolt holes exist it should be easy enough to cut the gen2 liner for this?

Yeah the response was “let me check with my service team no one has asked me before.” Which I expected and why I came here

I’m told for the GEN two the compact spare is a subscription service. 15.99 month
Don't forget the OTA Tire Inflation Updates.

That’s a steal for a compact spare that is guaranteed to work ;)
