Hi All, I've had my 2022 R1T Quad Adventure for a little over a week now. It didn't come with the spare, so I'm hunting down a good full size option since I plan to do some off-roading / overlanding.

While I can get the OEM AT Dark rim from the SC, the price is excessive IMHO for a rim, especially compared to the cost of the MSW (local SC wants 799 without TPMS). While I like the idea of my spare matching, I don't like it enough to justify over $500 more for a rim that's going to sit in my bed most of its life.

I see some running the MSW Type 52 for their winter / off-roading wheels and I can get that from DiscountTire along with a matching Nitto Ridge Grappler for about the cost of the OEM rim alone. Will that fit and be a good option for a spare?

It's an excellent option.

I have my winter tires mounted on the MSW 52’s. Ran them all winter and they seem to be fine. Price was right and they have the same offset as the stock wheels.

I ran my winter tires on the MSW Type 52 and no complaints, they're great. However, for my summer spare I rotate it in with my tire rotations, so I got another OEM Dark to match.
