Rivian said following R1S combinations are no longer being produced: 

• Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Compass Yellow
• Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Red Canyon
• Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Rivian Blue

I live in Wisconsin and want Green Bay Packer colors of green inside and yellow outside, I thought I saw a YouTube video where Rivian was bragging about how simple it is for them to switch colors with their robot system.
I work in a factory and we offer a amazing amount of variables that we provide our customers, this is really poor and sad that Rivian dropped that option to their customers especially when there are not many options in the first place.

Agreed. The worst part is, they asked me to "confirm" my configuration - arrange financing - they were building it! Which I did. Then they decided not to build it and told me I have to wait until next year to maybe - if I guess right - pick something they want to build.

The Tableu-powered dashboard is super helpful at surfacing what Rivian is actually building and when. Something that - staggering as it may seem - they are unable to communicate themselves to their customers.

Where did you hear this? I just checked my configuration page and it lets me configure all of those combos.

From a 10/28/2022 email, here is more of what they said:

Hi Steve, The delivery window estimate in your Account has been temporarily set to “Processing new estimate” due to the interior and exterior color combination you configured. This is a result of our efforts to simplify production in order to make as many deliveries as possible. We recognize that you may have had your heart set on your exact configuration and look forward to helping you find a new favorite. As part of our production ramp process, we are moving away from configurations with very low demand. Because of this, the following combinations are no longer being produced:

Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Compass Yellow Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Red Canyon Forest Edge + Warm Ash Wood with Rivian Blue

If the Forest Edge interior is your lead preference, you can still choose it with our other exterior colors. If a particular paint color is preferred, Black Mountain and Ocean Coast can be paired with all options. To make sure you receive a delivery window estimate, we encourage you to reconfigure soon. We plan to refresh your estimate every three months, which means you can expect updates in January, April, July, and October of each calendar year. Your window will be based on your configuration, delivery location and original preorder date and we will work to prioritize your delivery. Moving forward, further updates to your delivery estimate will be shared in your Account.

You mean as in these options are being dropped like they did with Explore?

Honestly, for resale value, it's probably a good thing that they are limiting configurations that most people don't want. It will be hard to resell a car that very few people would've chosen. It stinks that you can't get what you originally wanted, but at least they were transparent about what combos they are producing so that you can get your R1S scheduled.

Clearly you just need to get yellow and do a wrap to add some green. Let’s see some commitment to a 4-7 team that is sadly circling the drain

Tesla had a million options when they first started out too... "cold weather package", "Tech package", "sport suspension", "ultra high fidelity sound system", "range upgrade", "wood matte decor", "smart suspension", "premium interior lighting", "carbon fiber spoiler", etc...

Now their "options" are:
exterior color
wheel choice
interior color (choice of just white of black for the Model 3)

Tesla has gone super simple to streamline production... looks like Rivian will eventually do the same thing as they have already started trimming option choices.
